Thrifted something similar but in plaid: http://lbosquejo.blogspot.com/2009/04/blue-boy.html.Miguel Paolo Celestialhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07040656343105701090noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9178228248113361074.post-15972593581282338962009-04-21T05:32:00.000+01:002009-04-21T05:32:00.000+01:00I wish Japanese brands were available in Canada......I wish Japanese brands were available in Canada... *sigh*

~F~ Faithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16571881915985693476noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9178228248113361074.post-70900921088767507572009-04-20T21:10:00.000+01:002009-04-20T21:10:00.000+01:00I've been thinking more about that shirt. I think ...I've been thinking more about that shirt. I think maybe if you dip dyed a shirt, maybe suspended it upside down in a bucket of dye mix for however long it recommends, and then pulled it out and (without washing the dye out) hung it up the right way round again for a while, you could get that spidery tendril colour effect. I'd definitely be tempted to try.

I think you'd have to stick with a really simple garment though, like that white shirt. Something Jil Sander-ish?

P.S. Will twitpic some stuff from the bosozoku book in the meantime!Mousehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15150903316627563095noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9178228248113361074.post-58905047790353245322009-04-20T20:19:00.000+01:002009-04-20T20:19:00.000+01:00Mouse: Please do pester John on the bosozoko post....Mouse: Please do pester John on the bosozoko post. I will certainly give the half contrast shirt a try. I really do need to attempt more DIY, but I always need an adult supervising me though because I just get myself in a mess otherwise.Style Salvage Stevehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09637953416614454873noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9178228248113361074.post-29087284715137966462009-04-20T19:34:00.000+01:002009-04-20T19:34:00.000+01:00John has an excellent book on bosozoku that I thin...John has an excellent book on bosozoku that I think you guys would like - maybe I can get him to do a blog post on it...

I wonder if you could DIY that half contrast shirt as well as the button jacket?Mousehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15150903316627563095noreply@blogger.com
