Entitled Paper Ink Poetry, Jie Liang's LCF MA collection explored paper theory and packaging shapes that provided the designer inspiration to further experiment with interfacing and surface textures. As well as playing with the shape of garments, the cutting and creasing techniques on show create an unexpected softness.
The detailing on that jacket looks so cool, rather wish it was all over. And the theme sounds really interesting - I'm still hankering after a LeU paper knit.
